Calgora puts everyday Calgary in one place: when your carts go out, when the next train leaves, what's closed on your commute, where to park, and how to report a problem to 311.

Everything you see comes from the City of Calgary's own open data and other official sources, with the source and the time it was last updated shown beside it. When a feed is down or the City doesn't publish something, Calgora says so instead of guessing.

WASTE AND RECYCLING • Your blue, green and black cart schedule for your address • A reminder the evening before, and a check-in the next day if a cart was missed • Prepare a missed-collection report and hand it to 311 in a few taps

CITY ALERTS AND EVENTS • Alberta Emergency Alerts and City notices for your area • Weather from Environment and Climate Change Canada • City events and festivals, with the ones you save kept together (reminders are a My Calgora feature)

ASK GARY Gary is Calgora's assistant — an AI that answers Calgary questions using the app's live City data and official City pages, and always shows where an answer came from. Ask about your collection day, a road closure, a permit or what goes in which cart, or point your camera at something and let Gary help you report it. Gary is not a person, never gives medical or legal advice, and points you to 911 or 311 when that is the right answer. Asking Gary needs a free Calgora account.

FREE AND MY CALGORA Calgora is free: collection schedules, transit, 311 reporting, parking, alerts and safety information cost nothing and work without an account. A free account keeps your places and settings in sync across your devices and gives you three Ask Gary questions a month.

My Calgora (CAD 29.99 per year) adds route checks before you leave, a daily briefing, unlimited addresses and saved places, event reminders, and unlimited Ask Gary questions.

PRIVACY Calgora asks for location only when you use it, and your saved places stay on your device unless you sign in to sync them. Ask Gary sends your question and a short summary of the City data you are looking at to Anthropic, the AI provider, so Gary can answer; it is not used to train anyone's model. The privacy policy explains all of it.
