Cassette — Navidrome Client

Af Mathieu Dubart · Musik og lydDerfor forventer vi det: A thoughtful, privacy-first Navidrome client with real offline mode and clear value for self-hosters who want no ads or tracking.
Kort fortalt
Cassette - Navidrome Client is a music player for Subsonic, OpenSubsonic and Navidrome servers, and it does not supply any music itself. It is aimed at people who already run their own server, and it offers offline playback, synced lyrics and ListenBrainz scrobbling. Nothing stands out more than its absence of ads, tracking and purchases.

Cassette plays the music you already own, from the server you already run.
It is a client for Subsonic, OpenSubsonic and Navidrome servers. You will need one of those — Cassette does not provide any music of its own, and there is no account to create.
No ads. No tracking. No analytics. No subscription and no in-app purchases. Your credentials stay in the Keychain and every request goes straight to your server, with nothing in between. Open source, under MPL-2.0.
LISTENING - Background playback with Lock Screen and Control Center controls, and AirPlay - Real offline mode — download albums, playlists or single tracks and play them with no network at all - FLAC, MP3, AAC, WAV and Ogg Vorbis - Lyrics, synced to the track - Crossfade and ReplayGain - Your session is remembered: reopen the app and carry on where you stopped - Shuffle, repeat and full control of the queue
YOUR LIBRARY - Browse by playlist, artist, album, downloads and favourites - Pin what you play most to the home screen - Full-text search across the library - Favourites synced back to your server - Cassette Wrapped — a yearly recap of what you actually listened to
EXTRAS - ListenBrainz scrobbling, with recommendations and fresh releases - Home Screen widgets - Internet radio stations - Share a track as a public link, on servers that support it
BUILT FOR SELF-HOSTING - Custom HTTP headers for servers behind a reverse proxy — Cloudflare Access, Authelia and the rest - Works with any Subsonic or OpenSubsonic compliant server - Available on iPhone, iPad and Mac
Cassette is free, and it stays free. There is no paid tier planned, and no part of it is held back.
