Echoin: Listening Practice is an education app that turns audio files you import from the Files app into sentence-by-sentence English listening practice. It transcribes audio on the iPhone with an on-device Whisper model, lets you tap any sentence to jump to it, and offers repeat and sleep timer controls. Its standout feature is that no account is needed and audio and transcripts stay on the device.

Echoin turns your own audio into focused English listening practice.
Import an audio file from the Files app, transcribe it on your iPhone with an on-device Whisper model, and practice one sentence at a time.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Import your own audio files - Generate time-synced sentence transcripts on device - Follow the current sentence while listening - Tap any sentence to jump to its audio position - Repeat a single sentence or an entire lesson - Edit, save, and export optional LRC files - Use background audio playback and a sleep timer - Choose from built-in and optional transcription models
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account or login is required. Audio, transcripts, word timestamps, and LRC files stay on your device. Echoin does not upload your audio or transcript.
Tiny and Base models are included and can be used offline. Small and Large models are available as optional downloads when you want higher transcription accuracy.
