Estia is a quiet place to find inspiration and write.
Follow your favourite writers, blogs and websites and keep their latest posts close at hand. There’s no inbox to clear or endless list of articles to work through. They’re simply there when you’re looking for a little inspiration.
When you find that spark, Estia gives you a focused place to get your thoughts onto the page. Write without distraction, create a quick link post when something is worth sharing, or simply start from scratch.
Add your favourite RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds and browse recent writing from the sources you care about.
Move from something that inspires you straight into your own writing, with a clean Markdown editor designed to stay out of your way.
Estia saves your work locally as ordinary Markdown files, in a folder you choose. There’s no Estia account and your writing isn’t uploaded to Estia servers.
When you need it, Estia can use Apple Intelligence to suggest a simple structure for your writing based on what inspired you. It only happens when you ask, and it won’t write the article for you.
Connect a compatible Micropub service to publish your writing directly from Estia, or keep your Markdown files locally and publish them however you prefer.
Estia is an independent Mac app built around a simple idea: inspiration and writing belong close together.
