Gate of Noor is a quiet writing companion for the Quran. Write every surah and ayah for free, with no account, card, or subscription required.

Choose any passage, write in order, explore random ayahs, or follow the guided Journey. Trace the Arabic script with your finger or a stylus while the faint writing guide, transliteration, and word guidance support your practice. Paintings appear above the writing area.

Choose from 35 language options. Translation and word-guide coverage varies by language.

Open Stroke order from the menu to watch and trace 28 original lessons for isolated Arabic letters. Replay a lesson, slow it down, and practice the letter body and dots. These lessons do not teach joined Quranic forms or vowel marks.

Your handwriting stays on your device. Gate of Noor does not upload your pen strokes. If you choose to sign in with a verified account, free cloud sync carries completed ayahs, streak, start date, and settings across devices. An account is optional and does not unlock any content.

Connect to the internet periodically to refresh Quran content. If its verification expires or the source withdraws it, Quran writing pauses until current content is available. Your saved handwriting and progress are preserved, and the original letter lessons remain available.

This release does not offer Quran recitation or word-audio playback.

Gate of Noor has no advertising, social feed, or public chat. It is a personal space for spending time with the words of the Quran through writing.
