Show up at the rink with everything. HockeyBag.App turns packing your bag into a quick checklist you tap through, so the skates, the mouthguard and that one glove never get left on the garage floor again.

PACK IN DRESSING ORDER Every bag starts with the 16 things a player needs, listed in the order you put them on: base layer and jock, neck guard, skate socks, shin guards, hockey socks, pants, skates and guards, shoulder pads, elbow pads, jersey, gloves, helmet, mouthguard and stick, then a water bottle and a post-practice snack. Tap each one as it goes in. The bar at the top fills up as you pack, and you'll see "All packed!" when you're done.

START WITH TWO SAMPLE BAGS The app opens with a Sample Practice Bag and a Sample Game Bag, filled in with real gear for a young player, so you can see how everything works. The game bag adds the extras that matter on game day, such as a spare stick, spare laces and tape. Make them your own or remove them.

ONE BAG FOR EVERY PLAYER More than one child playing? Give each player their own bag, with their photo and their own list, so everyone can spot their bag at a glance. Put the bags in the order you like. It works well for families, carpools and anyone who plays in more than one league.

MAKE THE LIST YOURS Add, rename, reorder or remove items. Goalie gear, a skate key, the away jersey: put whatever you need on the list. You can bring back the standard 16 items any time.

PHOTOS AND DETAILS FOR EVERY ITEM Take a photo of each piece and save its brand, model, size, colors, price, a link to where you bought it, and notes. The bag itself gets the same details. It's handy when it's time to buy the next size up, replace a lost glove, or tell a grandparent exactly which stick to buy.

GAME-DAY REMINDERS Pick each player's game days and a time, and your phone reminds you to pack their bag. You can also get a reminder after the game to repack the bag. Reminders work without an internet connection.

KNOW WHAT NEEDS WASHING Tap the washer next to any piece that needs a wash after the game. It stays lit until you tap it again once the piece is clean.

SHARE AND IMPORT Send a whole bag's inventory as a quick text, or as a printable PDF with photos and the total value. It's useful for insurance, for a coach, or for passing gear down to a younger brother or sister. You can share a single item too, and anyone with the app can import a bag or item you send them, photos included.

READY FOR THE NEXT GAME The checklist clears itself 12 hours after the bag is packed, so it's ready to go next time. You can also tap Start over whenever you like.

SYNC AND BACKUP Sync your bags across your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud account. You can also back up every bag, item and photo to a single file and restore it on a new phone.

LOOKS THE WAY YOU LIKE Light and dark mode, eight team colors, and a gentle tap you can feel as each item goes in.
