Lasting Voices is a productivity app that collects what a company's staff know, such as customer habits, equipment quirks and supplier contacts, and files each capture under the related customer, process, machine or person. Staff can ask questions in plain language and get answers drawn only from what colleagues recorded, with sources shown. A standout feature is the pre-departure interview, which lets a successor see what has and has not been handed over.

ADD WHAT YOU KNOW Talk, type a note, take a photo or answer a short interview. Every capture is filed under the customers, processes, machines and people it is about.
ASK YOUR COMPANY Ask a question in plain words. The answer comes only from what your people said and wrote, with the source under every answer. When the knowledge is not there, it says so instead of guessing.
WHEN SOMEBODY LEAVES Interview them before they go. The person taking over gets their answers in their own voice, and you can see what has been handed over and what has not.
