Lexory is a reader for people who read a lot, listen to books and learn languages. No ads, no analytics, no account.

READING • EPUB, FB2, TXT and PDF, books in ZIP archives. • Table of contents, footnotes, search in the book, bookmarks. • Highlights in different colors and styles, with notes. • Themes, including your own, fonts, margins and spacing, page turning or scrolling. • Two columns in landscape, and on iPad in portrait too.

AUDIOBOOKS AND READ-ALOUD • MP3, M4B and M4A audiobooks — a file or a whole folder: chapters, speed, bookmarks, sleep timer; playback in the background, on the Lock Screen and in CarPlay. • Read any book aloud with iOS voices and downloadable neural voices right on the device; cloud voices only if you choose them and give consent. • Save a read-aloud book or chapter as an audiobook — it appears right away in the Audio tab.

LANGUAGES • Translate a selected word or phrase on the device (Apple) or with an online translator using your own key. • A dictionary of your words with context from the book and flashcards with spaced repetition. • A review reminder — only on days when words are due.

LIBRARY • Home with the books you are reading and listening to; shelves, collections, series, authors (by last name), sorting, search and an alphabetical index. • Import from Files — single files or whole folders, over Wi-Fi from a computer, from WebDAV servers (Nextcloud, Synology and others) — books and whole folders, and by link. • Sync reading and listening positions, bookmarks, highlights, words and collections through your iCloud; books and audiobooks in iCloud Drive. • Backups and Recently Deleted for 30 days.

PRIVACY Lexory does not collect your data. Books and notes stay on your device and in your iCloud. Text is sent to cloud speech or a translator only if you choose them and give consent — the list of services is in More ▸ Privacy.
