Payster

Payster takes the typing out of paying invoices. Share a PDF invoice with Payster and it reads the payee name, IBAN, amount and payment reference — entirely on your iPhone. You check each field next to the spot on the invoice it came from, then fill it into your own banking app with a few taps.

HOW IT WORKS • Open the invoice in Mail, Files or any other app, tap Share and choose Payster. • Check what Payster found. Every field shows a crop of the invoice, and you can edit anything. • In your banking app, fill in the fields using one of three methods.

THREE WAYS TO FILL IN • AutoFill: Payster includes an AutoFill extension. Touch and hold a field in your banking app and choose AutoFill → Passwords → Payster to insert the name, IBAN, amount or description. Payster does not store or fill in passwords. • Notification: a notification extension shows the fields; tap one to copy it. • Dynamic Island: a Live Activity shows the fields on iPhone 14 Pro and later; tap one to copy it.

CHECKS BEFORE YOU PAY • IBANs are verified with the mod-97 check (and the eleven-test for Dutch accounts). • Subtotal plus VAT is checked against the total. • Above an amount you choose, you confirm the amount separately. • Reads text layers, scanned invoices and payment QR codes (EPC) in Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish.

100% PRIVATE • Invoices are read on your iPhone. Payster has no server and makes no internet connection. • No account, no tracking, no ads. • Copied fields stay on this iPhone and leave the clipboard after 10 minutes. • Payster never makes payments and has no access to your bank. You check and sign every payment in your own banking app.
