Prudent Wallet

Prudent Wallet is a household ledger for the iPhone. Record income and spending, pick a category, and read the month against a savings buffer and a daily spending ceiling.

On Spending, choose Expense or Income, enter the amount and the payee, and confirm the category. The app suggests a category from the payee and remembers the choice on this phone. You can change a category later from the transaction.

After signing in, choose a home currency. Start from zero, or open a sample month in US dollars so the plan is visible. Starting from zero can include savings already in the bank and a deposit or investment in another currency, converted to the home currency at the current rate. Those figures, categories, and remembered payees stay on this iPhone. The app doesn't connect to a bank, move money, or offer credit or investments.

Sign in with Apple or Google. From the profile photo, you can sign out or delete the account and the ledger from this phone.
