Kort fortalt

Purr Den: Calming Cat Sounds is a lifestyle app that plays live-generated sound programs for cats, such as soft purrs, trills and rain, for sessions from 10 minutes to 4 hours. It is aimed at cat owners who want a calm sound during storms, vet visits or time alone. It also includes practice sounds like a doorbell and vacuum at a low, adjustable volume.

Om appen

Give your cat a quiet, cozy place to settle, wherever you are.

Purr Den plays gentle sound programs made for cats: soft purrs, suckling rhythms, trills, warm tones and rain. Cat owners use it during storms, before vet trips, while their cat is home alone, on the road and at bedtime.

SOUND MADE LIVE, JUST FOR YOUR CAT Every program is created live on your device, not played from a recording. Each session starts with a 3-second fade-in and ends with a gentle 2-minute fade-out, so nothing startles a resting cat.

20 PROGRAMS IN 7 GROUPS Explore Purr Zone, Healing Frequencies, Species-Appropriate, Anxiety & Stress, Life Stage, Nature & Environment and Deep Bass. Each program shows its calming frequencies, the research-inspired thinking behind it, and when it may be useful, such as vet visits, storms, time alone, new kittens or older cats.

PLAYS AS LONG AS YOU NEED Choose a session from 10 minutes to 4 hours, or pick 'Until I stop it'. Purr Den keeps playing with your phone locked, and you can pause or stop from the lock screen.

PRACTICE SOUNDS A door knock, doorbell and vacuum, played at a low volume you control. Short, gentle sessions can help your cat get used to everyday noises at their own pace.

YOUR CAT'S PROFILE Add your cat's name and photo. After each session, jot a quick note on how they responded: Settled, A little calmer, or No change yet. Over time, you'll see which programs your cat seems to enjoy.

THOUGHTFUL SUGGESTIONS Purr Den suggests a program based on the time of day and dates like fireworks holidays, without ever using your location.

TRY IT FREE Start a 7-day free trial with full access to every program. After the trial, Purr Den is $9.99 for a full year. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the year ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings, and payment is handled by Apple.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Your cat's name, photo and session notes never leave the device. Works on phones and tablets.

TIP FOR BEST RESULTS The deep purr frequencies sound fullest through a Bluetooth speaker placed near your cat's favorite resting spot.

Every cat is different, and responses will vary. Purr Den is a wellness tool, not a substitute for veterinary care.
