Af DOUGLAS BRUCE WAGNER · Musik og lydDerfor forventer vi det: A clear hum-to-chords idea with specific features, promising for songwriters capturing melodies on the fly.
Kort fortalt
SongBaby turns sung or hummed melodies into full songs, detecting the notes, suggesting fitting keys, and adding chords that play back within seconds. It is aimed at songwriters who get ideas at random moments and want to skip hours of finding chords for voice memos. One standout detail is that everything runs on the iPhone, with recordings staying on the device and no accounts or ads.

Hum it. Sing it. Song Baby turns the melody in your heart, into a real song: the notes you sang, the key it's in, and chords that fit, ready to play back in seconds. No AI in the song writing element. Chords are selected based on your real live tune, keep the creativity with the people!
Song Baby is built for songwriters inspired at random moments. Your idea for a catchy song can write itself in minutes with SongBaby. Forget about trying to find the chords for hours of voice memos. Song baby lets you intuitively select keys, modes, rhythms and sounds. Simple to use, designed to not get in your way.
SET YOUR TEMPO • Snap your fingers and Song Baby counts the tempo for you, or tap along, or drag the slider. • A one-bar click counts you in, then goes silent. A visual pulse and a gentle haptic tap keep you on time, so no click bleeds into your take.
SING INTO A REEL-TO-REEL • Hit record and sing or hum. The tape deck rolls with a live timer and bar counter. • Your melody appears note by note on a scrolling grid. Tap to jump anywhere, drag to scroll.
CHANGE THE KEY WITH A TAP • Song Baby suggests the keys that fit your melody best, including moods like Dorian and Lydian, and shows how well each one fits. • Tap a key while your song plays and hear the same melody in a whole new light. • Press and hold any bar to swap its chord for another that fits the key. • Pick a chord style (folk, pop, blues, jazz or modal) and the chords re-voice themselves.
MIX IT LIKE A STUDIO • A four-channel mixer for Voice, Melody, Chords and Drums. Slide a fader for level, tap a name to mute it. • Hold Melody or Chords to change the instrument: grand piano, steel or nylon guitar, electric piano, organ, warm pad and more. • Choose a rhythm (Strum, Comp, Shuffle, Two-step, Waltz and more) and switch it while the song plays. Changing the key never touches the beat. • recorded voice will always sound a little behind the music. Use the recording feature to hone the sound, or change later with Chord selection.
KEEP AND SHARE YOUR IDEAS • Every idea lands in your library with its key, tempo and length at a glance. • Lock a song to keep it exactly as it is. • Paid version allows unlimited MIDI Export, next open your song in your favorite DAW (Logic Pro, GarageBand, etc) to keep building. • Song Baby asks before you leave an unsaved take, so you never lose an idea.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your iPhone. Your recordings never leave your device. No AI, no accounts, no ads, no tracking.
