TapSpan: Time Tracker

TapSpan is a simple, reliable time tracker for people who bill by the hour. Tap Start and the timer runs. When the work is done, your hours are there, grouped by day and by customer, ready to export.

START IN ONE TAP Quick Timer needs no setup. Start first and decide later which customer and job the time belongs to.

CUSTOMERS, JOBS AND SESSIONS Organise work by customer and job, each with an optional hourly rate. Rates are recorded with every session, so changing a rate later never rewrites past work.

PAUSE, SWITCH AND RETURN Only one timer runs at a time, but you can keep as many sessions paused as you need. When a phone call interrupts one job, pause it, switch to another, and come back when you're ready. Returning takes you to the paused session; it never resumes without your say-so.

CORRECT TIME HONESTLY Forgot to start the timer, or left it running? Pause and correct the start and finish, or add work you forgot to record. Overlaps with other sessions are flagged before anything is saved.

HISTORY AND SUMMARY See every session grouped by day, filter by customer, job or date, and check totals by customer for today, this week, this month or any dates you choose. Values are calculated with the rate each session was recorded at, and currencies are never mixed.

EXPORT AND BACKUP Export finished sessions as a CSV file for your spreadsheet or accounts. Save a full backup wherever you choose, such as Files or iCloud Drive, and restore it later, with an undo if you change your mind.

BUILT TO KEEP YOUR RECORDS SAFE A running timer carries on through closing the app or restarting your iPhone. If your iPhone's clock changes while a timer runs, TapSpan asks you to check the time rather than guessing. A long-running timer gets a gentle reminder but keeps recording until you decide.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-in, no tracking and no analytics. TapSpan doesn't use your location and doesn't send your records anywhere. Everything stays on your iPhone and in your own backups.
