Armarium Books

Armarium is a player for audiobooks you already own. No store. No subscription. No account.

Choose your audiobook folder in Files or iCloud Drive and Armarium turns it into a library. A single file or a folder of chapter files becomes one book. The app remembers where you left off in every book.

LIBRARY • Import a whole folder, a single file, or open files from AirDrop • Covers from the file, from an image in the book's folder, or your own from Photos or Files • Grid or list, sorted and filtered the way you like • New, In Progress and Finished at a glance • Series stacked together, and search by title, author or series • Fix a title or author without touching your files

LISTENING • Position saved per book, and undo for accidental jumps • Speed from 0.75× to 2.5× per book, with natural voice pitch • Chapters from m4b files, .cue sheets or the files in a folder • Bookmarks with your own notes, all in one searchable Bookmarks tab • Sleep timer by minutes or at the end of a chapter, with a gentle fade. Shake to add more time • Listening stats and a daily goal • Rewind a few seconds after a pause, so you never lose the thread • Choose how far the skip buttons jump • AirPlay to speakers and TVs • Player background that takes its colours from the cover

EVERYWHERE ON YOUR IPHONE • Lock Screen, Control Center and Dynamic Island • Siri, Shortcuts and the Action button: resume, pause, sleep timer • Apple Watch: listen right from your wrist with AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones, and leave the iPhone at home. Chapters, sleep timer, bookmarks and a Continue Listening complication. Or use the Watch as a remote for your iPhone

Light, Dark or Automatic appearance. Dynamic Type and VoiceOver.

Positions and bookmarks are saved next to each book, and settings and stats in your iCloud, so they come back after a reinstall.

Your files stay on your device and in your iCloud Drive. Armarium does not upload books, show ads, collect data or track you. Covers are never downloaded from the web.

Requires iPhone. Books go to Apple Watch from the iPhone; playback on the Watch needs Bluetooth headphones.
