Beginbud

Starting is the hard part.

If you have ADHD, the problem usually isn't doing the task. It's the gap between deciding to do it and actually beginning. Beginbud is built for that gap and nothing else.

Tell it what you're avoiding. It hands back a single first action, small enough that refusing feels sillier than doing it. Then it sits with you while you do it.

HOW IT WORKS

- Say what you're dreading. Type it, or tap a suggestion. "My emails." "The laundry." "That assignment."

- Get one small first step. Not a plan. Not a checklist. One action, in a sentence.

- Start together. Pick 12 to 60 minutes and your seedling works alongside you, body doubling, without another person in the room.

- Get paid for starting. You earn Sparks the second you begin, not when you finish.

WHY NOT JUST A TIMER?

Because a timer assumes you've already begun. Most focus apps reward finishing and punish stopping — they take back your points, break your streak, and hand you a small dose of shame. For a brain that already struggles to initiate, that makes opening the app its own thing to avoid.

Beginbud pays out the moment you start, keeps everything you earned if you stop early, and counts totals instead of chains. You started 14 times this month — never "you broke a 6-day streak."
