Bless Up: Jamaican Bible Study

Wah gwaan! Bless Up is Bible study in Jamaican Patois: bite-sized lessons, Scripture in fi wi language, and a doctor bird named Doc who grows as your faith grows.

Five minutes a day is all it takes. Read a passage, learn a new Patois word, then test yourself with quick, fun questions. Keep your streak alive, earn faith points and seeds, and watch Doc hatch from a likkle egg into a full-feather doctor bird with long streamer tail.

DAILY LESSONS • Short lessons through the life of Jesus, Creation, the Psalms, the prophets and Paul's letters • Multiple choice, true or false, fill-in-the-blank and word-tile questions • A new Patois word in every lesson, with a word bank to look back on • Every lesson is free

READ DI WURD • Every passage in Jamaican Patois, the King James Version, or both side by side • Highlight verses, add notes, save favourites and share • A verse of the day, every morning

GROW WID DOC • Hatch and raise your doctor bird, Jamaica's national bird • Daily missions: finish a lesson, read a passage, pray, reason wid Doc • Dress Doc up in a tam, a jippi-jappa hat, a Sunday-best hat and more • Doc's yard follows the real time of day, from sunrise to starry night

REASON WID DOC • Ask about a verse, or share what's on your heart, and get pointed to Scripture in Patois • Answers are made on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence where available. Nothing is sent to us.

WIDGETS • Verse of the day and streak widgets for your home screen and lock screen
