Von 洪霆 郝 · BildungWarum wir das erwarten: Its privacy-first passage cards offer a distinctive way back into books, and the careful description makes the value easy to grasp.
Kurz gesagt
CardRead is an education app for returning to books through short passages. It surfaces sentences from included stories or imported EPUB files as cards in a Today feed, and tapping one opens that exact spot in the book. Everything stays on the device, and a standout feature is a Home Screen widget that shows a passage and opens its original context.

CardRead lets you return to a book through a sentence.
Start with three included short stories in your app language, or import an EPUB you have the right to use. CardRead finds passages on your device and presents them as cards in Today. When one catches your eye, tap it to open the exact place in the book and keep reading in context.
• Today: Explore a focused card stack or a two-column collection, and discover more passages. • Library: Import and organize books, then resume where you left off. • Excerpts: Save meaningful lines, return to their context, or create an image to share. • Book themes: Choose each book’s card typography, colors, and background. • Widgets: See a passage on your Home Screen and open its original context with a tap. Set how often Today passages rotate.
Books, excerpts, reading progress, and passage selection stay on your device. No account or cloud-based curation is required.
Supports unencrypted, reflowable EPUB files with extractable text. PDF, scanned books, fixed-layout EPUB, and DRM-protected content are not supported. Sample stories are available in English or Chinese depending on your app language; imported books remain in their original language.
