Cove: AI Voice Journal & Diary

Cove is a voice journal that talks back. Say what's on your mind and Cove answers out loud with one short question about what you just said. When you're done, your words are saved as a journal entry. There's no account, and the AI runs on your iPhone.

WHY COVE IS DIFFERENT • It answers out loud in a natural voice, then listens again. • It checks back. Write "Nervous about the interview on Friday" and once Friday has passed, Cove asks how it went. • It keeps a record of your worries: better than you feared, about as expected, or worse. Over time you see how often things went better than you feared. • It questions harsh thoughts, gently. Say "I always mess it up" and Cove asks something like "Was there a time it went differently?" It doesn't argue, and it never does this when you write about grief or a crisis.

TALK Tap Talk and start speaking. Cove waits until you pause, then replies with one line, usually a question about what you just said.

ASK YOUR JOURNAL Ask "When do I feel most like myself?" or "What's been weighing on me lately?" and get an answer drawn from your own entries, with the dates it came from.

A NOTE ON EACH WEEK Each Monday Cove writes a short note on the week before: what came up most, how it felt, and one question to think about.

YOUR COVE Every day you write adds a pebble to your cove, in that day's mood. Missing a day never takes one away. Three days a week is enough for patterns to show.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no Cove account and no Cove server. Entries stay on your iPhone or iPad and, if you use iCloud, sync through your own private iCloud database. Apple Intelligence writes summaries, weekly notes, answers and Cove's side of Talk on the device. Where it isn't available, Cove's built-in analyzer writes the summaries and Talk asks simpler questions. Nothing you write or say is uploaded for analysis. No ads and no tracking.

Apple Intelligence features need a supported iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence turned on. Everything else works on any device running iOS 26 or later.
