Daft Slop: AI Music Detector

Hear a song and wonder whether a person made it? Daft Slop listens to the music around you, finds the track and checks whether a machine made it. One tap, one answer.

HOW IT WORKS • Tap once and Daft Slop listens through the microphone. • It works out which song it is and finds it in the Apple Music catalog. • It checks the track for signs that a machine made it. • You get one of three verdicts (Human, Unsure or AI) and the chance that it's AI.

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Daft Slop works without an Apple Music subscription and without signing in. It needs the microphone to hear the song and an internet connection to look it up.

AN ESTIMATE, NOT A GUARANTEE AI detection is an estimate, not a guarantee. Daft Slop can only check songs it finds in the Apple Music catalog, and it does not catch every AI track. Treat a verdict as a hint, not as proof.

FROM THE MAKER OF DAFT MUSIC Daft Slop is a little sibling of Daft Music, an Apple Music player for Mac and iPhone. Daft Music has the same check built in for your whole library.
