Hard Talk

Hard Talks helps you practice the conversations you keep putting off — giving hard feedback, setting a boundary, saying no, addressing a performance issue, or working through conflict — before you have them for real.

HOW IT WORKS • Pick a type of conversation, then a specific situation, or describe your own. • Choose how tough the other person is: gentle, realistic, or tough. • Talk it through with a realistic AI partner who responds to what you actually say. WATCH THEM REACT A live mood meter shows how open the other person feels, moving from tense to open as you get clearer and kinder — so you can see, in the moment, what's working. GET COACHED After each conversation, get honest feedback: what you did well, what to try next time, and ratings on clarity, empathy, assertiveness, and staying calm. Redo the exact line that tripped you up with "Try that line again," and see how the reaction changes. BUILD CONFIDENCE OVER TIME Earn XP, level up, and keep a practice streak as your skills improve across conversations. Hard Talks is a practice tool, not a substitute for professional mental health support.
