Himekuri: Bible Reading Plan

A daily tear-off calendar for the Bible and for Japanese.

Himekuri shows you how to read today's date and time in Japanese, with furigana, and gives you a verse to read each day.

DATES AND TIMES IN JAPANESE - Today's date and time in kanji, hiragana and romaji - Public holidays, the six-day rokuyo cycle and the old lunar calendar at a glance - Jump to any day from the monthly calendar, which marks the days you read and the days you wrote a note

A VERSE FOR EACH DAY - One verse a day, with furigana - Based on the Colloquial Japanese Bible (public domain) - Switch to English (World English Bible), Korean or Chinese translations - Stamp the days you have read to keep a daily habit

NOTES ON THE VERSE - Start a meditation note straight from the verse of the day - One note page per day, easy to browse and search later

BIBLE READING TRACKER - Check off chapters across all 66 books (1,189 chapters) - See your progress as a percentage, with each year's record saved - Create a group and see everyone's reading progress together

WIDGETS AND NOTIFICATIONS - Lock Screen: how to read the date, how to read the time, and the verse of the day (including the single line above the clock) - Home Screen (Premium): the date reading and the verse of the day, in small and medium sizes - A daily notification with the verse of the day, at the time you choose

CUTE MASCOTS - Pick a mascot, or use your own photo, for the main screen

KEEP YOUR RECORDS - Sign in with Google or Apple to back up to the cloud and carry your records to a new device or after reinstalling (the app also works without signing in)
