Kurz gesagt

Orbit Astro Calendar is an iPhone and iPad app that lays out astrological events, such as Moon phases, Void Moons, sign changes, and aspects, as a calendar with each event at its exact minute in your time zone. It suits people who want astrology in plain text rather than glyphs, and it can match the current sky against a birth chart while keeping those birth details on the phone. It stands out for its plain-language event descriptions, such as "Mars in Leo square Saturn in Scorpio at 3°14′."

Info

Orbit Astro Calendar is the astrological sky as a calendar. Every Moon phase, every Void Moon, every sign change and station, and every exact aspect appears as an event at its minute, in your own time zone. There are no glyphs to decode: each one is a plain easy-to-read text, like “Mars in Leo square Saturn in Scorpio at 3°14′.”

WHAT’S INSIDE • My transits. Add the date, time, and place you were born, and Orbit shows when the current sky meets your birthday sky. Your birth details stay on your phone. • Moon phases to the minute, with the solar and lunar eclipses. • Void Moons, with how long each one lasts. • Ingresses and stations: the Moon and planets entering new signs, turning retrograde, and turning direct. • Aspects: the five major ones between the Sun and Pluto, each spelled out in a plain sentence. • Asteroids, Chiron, the North Node, and Lilith, for those who follow them. • Eight fixed stars: Aldebaran, Regulus, Antares, Fomalhaut, Spica, Sirius, Algol, and Alcyone. • Western or Vedic: the tropical zodiac, or the sidereal (Lahiri).

A PLAIN LANGUAGE ASTROLOGY CALENDAR Day, 2-day, week, list, month, and year views, with every kind of event in its own color. Turn any of them on and off. Tap an event to add it to Apple Calendar, or to be reminded the moment it happens. Put the Moon’s sign on your Lock Screen. Light and dark, on iPhone and iPad.

HOW IT’S CALCULATED Positions come from NASA JPL’s DE440 planetary ephemeris, the same data the Jet Propulsion Laboratory uses to navigate spacecraft; Chiron and the asteroids from JPL Horizons. Everything is worked out on your phone. It covers 2026 through 2029 and will be extended each year.
