ReRope

ReRope is a field-focused calculator and job log for elevator mechanics.

Use the ReRope calculator to estimate recommended hoist amount for reroping work based on existing run-by, desired run-by, rope stretch, and shackle take-up. The app can also provide a reference estimate for car sill position when buffer stroke and pipe or stinger height are entered.

The Rope Tension tool helps record rope tension readings, compare ropes against each other, and save final tension results by building and elevator.

Features: - Save buildings and individual elevators - Calculate recommended hoist amount - Account for rope stretch and shackle take-up - Reference estimated car sill height - Log final rope tension results - Add building and elevator notes - Quick-access tools for unsaved field calculations

Calculations are intended as reference tools. Always verify site conditions, measurements, and safe work practices before using results in the field.
