Speak Out Loud is a speaking practice app for people who understand a language but freeze when they need to talk. You say something about your day, and it returns two checks, a corrected version of your own sentence in native phrasing, and one everyday phrase drawn from what you said. Notably, all history and phrases are stored only on your iPhone, with no account required.

You can follow a sitcom and get through an email. Then someone asks you a question, and the sentence you had ready doesn't come out.
Speak Out is for that gap. Say one thing about your day, out loud, any way you can. Wrong tense, missing word, long pause: none of it matters here.
WHAT COMES BACK • Two questions, never a score: could a listener follow you, and does it sound translated? • Your own sentence, the way a native speaker would say it. Your story, your length, not a textbook replacement. Play it, slow it down, then say it again. • One everyday phrase worth keeping, pulled out of what you just said, with what it means and when to use it. One a turn, not a word list.
IT BECOMES YOURS WHEN YOU USE IT A phrase isn't yours the day you see it. Speak Out waits until it turns up in something you say on your own, and only then marks it as yours.
A CONVERSATION, NOT A QUIZ Every day there is one question to start you off, and you can ignore it. Answer, and the app asks a follow-up about what you actually said, a little deeper each time.
WHAT IT IS NOT Not a grammar drill. Not a pronunciation score. Not a streak to protect. It tells you when a word came out as a different word, because that changes what people hear, but it will never grade your accent. The goal is being understood, not being perfect.
YOUR WORDS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account, no sign-up, no ads. Your history and your phrases are stored on your iPhone. Speech recognition and feedback need an internet connection.
