Focus On Walk is a daily walk you promise yourself. Instead of another hour of scrolling, you get up and head out the door.
HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a daily walk time (7:00 PM by default, every day) 2. At that time, Screen Time locks all your apps 3. Walk 10+ minutes and 1,000+ steps, then open Focus On Walk to unlock
WALK TO UNLOCK - Keep your phone in your pocket. No need to look at the screen while you walk - Short pauses are fine: start again within a minute and your walk continues - Walking and running both count - Movement that isn't walking, like slowly shaking the phone, doesn't count - When you're done, open the app. It checks the steps recorded on your iPhone and unlocks right away
A LOCK THAT ALWAYS ENDS - Can't walk today? Every lock ends on its own 3 hours after it starts, with no payment and without opening the app - The automatic unlock time is always shown on the lock screen - If you really need your phone right now, an optional one-time in-app purchase unlocks it immediately (price shown in the app) - Phone calls and emergency calls are never locked
TRACK THE DAYS YOU WALK - Build a streak of days you unlocked by walking - See this month's walks, your walk success rate and the last 7 days - A monthly calendar shows each day's result: walked, paid, or automatic unlock
FITS YOUR WEEK - Set a different time for each weekday, or take days off - Get a heads-up 5 minutes before a lock starts (you can turn it off)
NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO ACCOUNT - No subscription and no sign-up - Your walk records and settings stay on your device - Screen Time access is only used to block other apps while locked
PERMISSIONS - Screen Time: to block other apps while locked (required) - Motion & Fitness: to check your steps (optional; without it, locks end after 3 hours or with the optional purchase) - Notifications: for lock reminders and the automatic unlock (recommended)
GOOD TO KNOW - While walking, watch where you're going, not your screen - The app shows interstitial ads - You can delete the app at any time - Requires iOS 16 or later
