SEARCH AND HIGHLIGHT TEXT IN PDF SCREENSHOTS
Have you inserted a screenshot into a PDF page and want to highlight its text? Since a screenshot is an image, your PDF app usually cannot recognize the words within it as text.
InlayPDF recognizes these words and adds invisible, selectable text to the PDF page. You can then search, select, and highlight the text within the screenshot in a compatible PDF app. The page’s appearance stays the same.
Text recognition takes place entirely on your iPhone or iPad.
HOW IT WORKS
• Insert your screenshot into a PDF page using your preferred PDF app. • Open that single page in InlayPDF from the Files app or paste it from the clipboard. • InlayPDF automatically recognizes the text within the screenshot. • Export the processed page and open it in your PDF app, or insert it back into your original document. • You can now search, select, and highlight the text within the screenshot, too.
Please note: InlayPDF processes one PDF page at a time. Text selection and highlighting may vary between PDF apps.
