Oh My Quota

Oh My Quota is a macOS menu bar app that uses Claude Code status line updates and a bundled Codex quota service to show remaining percentages and reset times.

• Two providers, one glance Distinct icons and percentages keep Claude and Codex easy to tell apart. The menu bar shows each provider’s actual quota period and remaining percentage. It defaults to the shortest valid window; Settings lets you choose weekly or lowest-remaining quota per provider. Click to see the available time-based and weekly windows and reset times.

• Color when it matters Icons and numbers turn orange or red at your warning and critical thresholds. Defaults correspond to 20% and 5% remaining, and you can adjust them in Settings.

• Optional notifications Enable macOS notifications for warning and critical limits. Each threshold is notified once per quota window and reset period.

• Local processing Access only the provider folders you allow and process quota on your Mac. Usage, conversations, and credentials are not sent to a developer-operated server. The bundled Codex service contacts OpenAI using your existing login. No separate Oh My Quota account is required.

• Your workflow, your settings Choose providers, thresholds, notifications, and launch at login. Supports 14 languages: English, Korean, Indonesian, Malay, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Vietnamese, and Thai, with light and dark appearances. Follow your system language or choose one in Settings.

Getting started Requires macOS 14 or later and quota information from Claude Code or a signed-in Codex account. Allow access to the relevant data folders on first launch. Claude Code requires installing the status line bridge from Settings; existing Claude settings are backed up before installation.

Claude values reflect the last status line record. The bundled Codex service uses your existing login to query OpenAI every 60 seconds while this app is running. Failed queries retry less often; Refresh retries immediately. No separate companion installation is needed. The Claude receiver runs on status line updates and can record quota while Oh My Quota is closed. Availability depends on the provider, account, and client version. The app displays the standard Codex quota, excluding separate model-specific limits.
