Phase Seq

Phase Seq is a fast, hands-on music sequencer built around multiple independent playheads, deep sound design, and rapid song building. Create patterns with Drums, Bass, Rhythm, and Lead, then send multiple playheads through the sequence at different rates, directions, pitches, and divisions. Simple patterns can quickly turn into shifting polyrhythms, evolving melodies, and arrangements that would be tedious to program in a conventional step sequencer. Build an idea in Scene 1, develop it across eight scenes, and chain those scenes into a complete track. Probability, pattern mutation, patch generation, harmony controls, and alternate playhead behaviors make it easy to explore variations without losing the core idea. Each instrument has its own dedicated sound engine with hands-on controls for shaping tone, movement, envelopes, filtering, modulation, and character. Phase Seq is designed to move quickly, but the synth engines are deep enough to build and save your own sounds.
