SET YOUR TEMPO • Snap your fingers and Song Baby counts the tempo for you, or tap along, or drag the slider. • A one-bar click counts you in, then goes silent. A visual pulse and a gentle haptic tap keep you on time, so no click bleeds into your take.

SING INTO A REEL-TO-REEL • Hit record and sing or hum. The tape deck rolls with a live timer and bar counter. • Your melody appears note by note on a scrolling grid. Tap to jump anywhere, drag to scroll.

CHANGE THE KEY WITH A TAP • Song Baby suggests the keys that fit your melody best, including moods like Dorian and Lydian, and shows how well each one fits. • Tap a key while your song plays and hear the same melody in a whole new light. • Press and hold any bar to swap its chord for another that fits the key. • Pick a chord style (folk, pop, blues, jazz or modal) and the chords re-voice themselves.

MIX IT LIKE A STUDIO • A four-channel mixer for Voice, Melody, Chords and Drums. Slide a fader for level, tap a name to mute it. • Hold Melody or Chords to change the instrument: grand piano, steel or nylon guitar, electric piano, organ, warm pad and more. • Choose a rhythm (Strum, Comp, Shuffle, Two-step, Waltz and more) and switch it while the song plays. Changing the key never touches the beat. • recorded voice will always sound a little behind the music. Use the recording feature to hone the sound, or change later with Chord selection.
