ABG Prime: Maths Journey

The scrolls of the great Library of Alexandria are lost in time. Euclid, who wrote his Elements in Alexandria, needs a scribe to travel through history and find them—and every scroll is won with math.

ABG Prime turns daily math practice into a journey through the history of mathematics. Walk the road from era to era, meet the people who counted and measured thousands of years ago, and solve problems along the way.

THE JOURNEY • Begin in ancient Egypt around 1550 BCE, when scribes counted the grain after every Nile flood, and travel on to the tablet house of Babylon. More eras of math history are on the way. • Every task earns XP. Level up, find scrolls, and uncover each era's picture piece by piece. • Scrolls bring new outfits and items for your traveler. • The weekly board shows travelers by their scribe names only, and anyone can hide from it in Settings.

THE MATH • Tasks follow the Finnish math curriculum, currently at a 5th-grade level: large numbers and place value, mental and written addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, units of measurement, and word problems. • Listening tasks train mental math: Euclid reads the task aloud, you work it out in your head and type only the answer. • Two tries for every task. After a second miss, you see what went wrong and a step-by-step solution. • Euclid suggests the next topic, favoring what you've practiced least and where you've made mistakes. • A scratchpad for working things out with your finger. • Tasks never run out. New ones are written with the help of AI, and our server checks every answer and calculation by exact computation before a task is shown.

LANGUAGES English, Finnish, and Swedish—the tasks too. Finnish and Swedish use a decimal comma.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No ads, no tracking, no analytics. • The game never asks for a name, an age, or a photo. Every player gets an invented scribe name, such as "Scribe 4127," and an illustrated traveler. • The account can be deleted in the app at any time (Settings → Delete account).

FREE TO PLAY ABG Prime is free with 30 tasks a day. An optional monthly subscription raises this to 100 a day.

Subscription: ABG Prime Subscription, 1 month, renews automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
