ALIEN VISION is a utility that turns the iPhone camera into a sci-fi scanning interface with three modes: HUMAN detects people in the live feed with on-device vision, THERMAL applies a pseudothermal color effect, and MESH maps surrounding surfaces using LiDAR on compatible devices. It is intended for visual exploration and entertainment, not for medical, safety, or surveillance use. A standout feature is that CAPTURE can save the full scanner view, overlays included, to Photos.

ALIEN VISION transforms the live camera experience into an immersive sci-fi scanning interface with three specialized visualization modes.

HUMAN Detect human figures visible in the camera feed using on-device computer vision. When a person is detected, ALIEN VISION responds with visual, sound and haptic feedback through its futuristic scanning interface.

THERMAL Experience a high-contrast pseudothermal visualization generated in real time from the standard iPhone camera image, with a dynamic color spectrum designed for visual exploration.

MESH On compatible devices, visualize surrounding surfaces as a real-time spatial mesh using Apple ARKit and LiDAR capabilities.

CAPTURE Capture your complete scanner view, including the ALIEN VISION interface and visual overlays, and save it directly to your Photos library.

THERMAL is a pseudothermal visual effect generated from the standard camera image. ALIEN VISION does not measure temperature and does not provide true infrared or thermal-camera imaging.

HUMAN detects human figures in the camera image. It does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification or determine a person’s identity.

MESH functionality depends on compatible device hardware.
