Blinky | Eye Rest App is a reminder app that uses a small animated buddy to prompt blinking, 20-20-20 eye breaks, and hourly stretches. It shows up in the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen during a session, and users can pick Mochi, Eye, or a customisable Leo. It stores settings on the phone with no accounts, tracking, or ads.

Most of us blink far less while looking at a screen, which leaves eyes dry and tired. Blinky is a tiny, friendly character that blinks so you remember to.
IN THE DYNAMIC ISLAND Start a blink session and your buddy moves into the Dynamic Island and onto the Lock Screen. Every 10 seconds it slowly blinks. Glance at it, blink along, and carry on. It's only there while you're using your phone, with no buzzing notifications.
GENTLE REMINDERS IN THE APP While Blinky is open, your buddy pops up every 20 seconds (or every minute, two, five or twenty) and blinks a few times.
LOOK AWAY (20-20-20) Every 20 minutes your buddy gazes off into the distance and counts down 20 seconds. Look at something about 20 feet away while it does.
STAND UP AND STRETCH Every hour your buddy hops up and down to remind you to get up and move.
PICK YOUR BUDDY • Mochi, a round little buddy with a sprout • Eye, one big friendly eye • Leo, a cheerful guy you can customise: hair style and colour, skin tone, facial hair and glasses
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no data collection. Your settings stay on your phone.
