Energiklassning is a private educational tool from LineSpotting. This app is unofficial. It is not a government service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Boverket or the Swedish government. It does not issue and does not replace an official energy performance certificate. Only a certified energy expert can register a declaration in Boverket's register. An estimate in the app is not a decision by Boverket or a municipality.

Estimate the energy class before you hire an expert. Enter heated area, construction year, heating system, and annual energy use for a house or an apartment. The app shows an educational estimate of energy class A0-G and the energy performance figure, a comparison with the new-build requirement, and example measures.

Boverket compares a building's energy class with the allowed energy performance of a corresponding new building. Class C is that requirement. Class A0 is the class for zero-emission buildings. The app can only show a candidate. The official class is the one a certified expert registers with Boverket.

Save scenarios, compare buildings, and share a link. The interface is Swedish, with an English language option. Plus is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks more saved scenarios and a comparison of several buildings. Payment and refunds are handled by the store.
