Grainlock: Goals App Blocker

Grainlock puts your goals in front of your apps.

Most of us set goals and then forget them by the end of the week. Meanwhile, we pick up our phones dozens of times a day. Grainlock turns those moments into reminders of where you're headed.

Choose the apps that pull you off course and set the times they lock. When you reach for one, Grainlock shows you your own goal, full screen, in your own words. Read it, hold for two seconds, and your apps open. Every unlock becomes a small moment to recommit to what you actually care about.

HOW IT WORKS - Pick your apps: social media, games, anything that pulls your attention away - Set your schedule: one lock schedule for every day, or a different one for each day of the week - Write your Grains: your goals, and why they matter to you - Read to unlock: open a Grain, read it, hold for two seconds, and continue

WHY GRAINLOCK IS DIFFERENT Most app blockers rely on friction: timers, waiting screens, guilt. Grainlock relies on intention. It doesn't try to keep you off your phone. It makes sure you remember your goals every time you pick it up, so you keep moving toward the life you want.

FEATURES - Goal-based unlocking: read your own goal to open locked apps - Grain library: reread, edit and add to your goals as they grow - Flexible schedules: lock times for every day, or set each day on its own - Daily streak: count each day in a row you show up for your goals - Guided onboarding: work out where you want to go, what's holding you back, and write your first goal - Built on Apple's Screen Time framework for native, reliable blocking

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. Your goals, your schedule and your app choices stay on your device.

GREAT FOR - Keeping New Year's goals alive past January - Students staying focused on study goals - Builders, creators and founders protecting deep work - Anyone who wants their phone to point them forward, not pull them off course
