Housely: Chore Chart & Bills

Housely is for everyone who lives together, as a couple or in a flatshare. Chores, shared expenses, recurring bills and the shopping list sit in one app instead of three.

CHORE CHART • Chores that repeat, from daily to yearly • Take turns: next time, it's automatically the next person's turn • Reminders when something is due • Away mode: whoever is on holiday or sick is skipped, and nothing counts as missed • Waste collection: paste your city's calendar link and Housely adds "Put the bin out" the evening before

EXPENSES AND RECURRING BILLS • Add expenses and split them equally or by your own ratio (say 60/40) • Set up rent, electricity and internet once – Housely adds them every month and reminds you beforehand (three are free, more with Plus) • You always see who owes whom how much • Monthly overview: what you spent and got done together, by area and compared with the month before • Settle up with a GiroCode (scanned by any German banking app), a PayPal link or a text to share. Housely itself never moves money.

SHOPPING LIST • One list for everyone: what one of you checks off is checked off for all • Add items by scanning their barcode • Pantry and repeating items

FOR FLATSHARES • Shared kitty and deposit • Home info: Wi-Fi, landlord, meter readings with dates • Split the utility statement by your default split and book it as an expense (Plus) • Flatmates without an iPhone can take part in the browser

SIRI, SHORTCUTS, OFFLINE • Siri and Shortcuts: "Add something to the Housely shopping list", "What do I have to do today in Housely?" • Works without a connection and syncs as soon as you're back online • In English and German

PRICING For up to two people per household, Housely is free – including several households in one account, say your flatshare and your place as a couple. There are never any ads.

Housely Plus covers a whole household: one person pays, everyone in it gets it. It includes: • more than two people with their own account • more than three recurring bills (the ones you already have keep running without Plus) • receipt scanning (amount, date and store from the receipt) • export of all expenses as CSV • earlier months in the fairness view • earlier months in the monthly overview • older entries: without Plus, the expense and chore lists show the last 3 months. Nothing is deleted, and the balance always counts everything. • a custom default split for the household, say 60/40 (you can always split a single expense freely) • utility statement: split the yearly back payment or credit and book it

Plus – one household: €3.49 a month or €29.99 a year. Plus – up to 3 households: €4.99 a month or €44.99 a year.

The yearly subscriptions start with 14 days free (once per Apple Account); after that the yearly price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Whoever pays for Plus can move it to another of their households at most once every 30 days. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple Account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Prices in other countries may differ.
