iModbus-TCP

iModbus-TCP turns your iPhone into a Modbus TCP master for commissioning, troubleshooting and checking equipment on site. Connect over your local network to PLCs, VFDs, power meters, building controllers and any other Modbus TCP device.

POLL MANY DEVICES AT ONCE • Add as many devices as you need, each with its own IP address, port and timeouts. • Give each device several windows, each with its own function, unit ID, address range and scan rate. • Read up to 2,000 values in one window. iModbus-TCP splits large ranges into separate requests automatically, so a rejected block only blanks its own addresses. • Overlap checking stops you from setting up two windows that read the same registers.

SEE VALUES THE WAY YOU NEED THEM • Signed, unsigned, hex and binary. • 32-bit and 64-bit integers, floats and doubles. • All four byte orders: ABCD, DCBA, BADC and CDAB. • Name individual registers and set a format for each row. • Switch between 0-based protocol addresses and PLC-style references (40001, 30001, 10001, 00001). • Jump straight to any address with Go to Address.

WRITE SAFELY • Write single coils (05) and registers (06), or use function 16 for 32/64-bit values and devices that require it. • Every write needs a confirmation step, so you never change a value by accident.

KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING • Live transmit and error counters for each window. • Clear messages for Modbus exception codes, timeouts and connection errors.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN iModbus-TCP collects no data. Your device list stays on your iPhone, and the app only talks to the devices you add.

iModbus-TCP supports Modbus TCP over Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It does not support Modbus RTU (serial).
