Leafyear grows your life as a majestic 3D tree on a quiet hill above a lake. Tell it the year you were born and how long you would like to live, and the crown fills with one leafy bough for every year. The years you have lived rest on the ground. The years ahead stay on the branches. This year's leaf glows.

It isn't a countdown clock. It's a calm, beautiful place to keep your years: what they held, how they felt, and who you spend them with.

A JOURNAL IN YOUR TREE • This week: say how the week felt and answer one gentle question. Each week grows a leaflet on this year's glowing leaf, in the colour of how it felt. Weekly, never daily, and no streaks. • Your years: give any year a word, its memories and its photos. Mark the milestones. Remembered leaves glow warm on the ground. • Loved ones: see how many more New Years (or Tết) you may still welcome with your parents, grandparents, partner or children, and log the time you spend together. Turn on weather where you are to see the sky outside your window, from Apple Weather. • Spring flowers, long golden summer evenings, autumn leaves turning, snowy winter nights. • Wind moves through the meadow and the crown. Leaves flutter, bud and fall. • A cinematic lens: light shafts through the branches, soft depth of field and a film grade.

YOUR YEARS, UP CLOSE • Tap any leaf to see its year and your age that year. • Spin the tree to see it from every side. • Count the time ahead in years, seasons, weeks or days. • A quiet line for each season: "3 more winters by a warm window." • Lived past the lifespan you chose? Every year after is a gift.

ANY SEASON, ANY HOUR • Turn off "Follow the real sky" to see your tree in any season, at any time of day, under clear skies, cloud, rain, mist or snow. • Choose the northern or southern hemisphere, so the seasons match where you live.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your journal stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. No account, no ads, no tracking. • Lock your journal with Face ID. • Export everything at any time, or delete it.
