Life Cost: Price in Work Time

Every price has a hidden cost: your time.

Life Cost turns prices into the working time you spend earning them. Type a price and instantly see: “64h 20m of your working life – that’s 8 working days.” Suddenly, impulse buys look very different.

HOW IT WORKS • Enter your net income and working hours once. • Type any price – or pick an example like a smartphone, sneakers or dinner out. • See the cost in hours, minutes and working days, visualised day by day.

DECIDE BETTER • Not sure? Put it on your wishlist. After 7 days, Life Cost asks again – most wishes fade. • Let it go and keep the time: every skipped purchase is counted as time reclaimed. • Bought it anyway? It goes into your history – edit or delete anytime.

YOUR MONTH IN WORKING DAYS • Add rent, electricity, internet and other fixed costs. • See exactly until which day you work for your costs – and which days are really yours. • Tap any day in the calendar to see what it pays for.

INSIGHTS • Your spending by category, the last 6 months at a glance, your biggest purchase and the time you kept.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no bank connection, no tracking, no ads. • All data stays on your device. • Optional privacy mode hides your income and hourly value behind Face ID or Touch ID.

MADE FOR IPHONE DUO • Unfolded, Life Cost shows two panes side by side – or top and bottom when you hold it upright.

LIFE COST PRO – PAY ONCE, KEEP IT FOREVER No subscription. One purchase unlocks: • Real Life Rate: your true hourly value including commute, unpaid overtime and work costs. • Subscriptions in working time: Netflix, Spotify, the gym … • Home screen widget: your time value and this month at a glance. • Unlimited history (the free version keeps your last 30 purchases).

Available in English, German, Turkish, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese, with 16 currencies.

Life Cost is not financial advice. It is a simple way to see your money for what it really is: your time.
