Nutrient mix solution

Most dosing charts hand you a teaspoon per gallon. Nutrient mix solution starts from what the plant actually needs — ppm of N, P, K, Ca and Mg — and works backward to grams of salt you can weigh on a kitchen scale. TARGETS Twelve presets cover lettuce, basil, tomato, cucumber, pepper and strawberry, each in a vegetative and a fruiting form, with five-element targets and EC and pH windows. Duplicate one as a custom target and move the sliders. TWO BUCKETS Calcium and sulfate in one bottle end up as gypsum on the bottom. Nutrient mix solution splits every recipe: calcium nitrate, ammonium nitrate and iron chelate go to A; everything else goes to B. The split is fixed, not a setting, and stock strength is checked against each salt's solubility at 1:100 and 1:200 — a mix that would precipitate is flagged red and cannot be saved. WATER FIRST Tap water arrives with calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate already dissolved. Pick a water profile and those ions are subtracted from the target before anything is weighed, so nothing the pipe delivered gets dosed twice. ACID Enter alkalinity, pick a target pH and 85% phosphoric or 68% nitric acid. Nutrient mix solution returns millilitres per tank and the P or N that acid brings with it. Switch on deduct and the phosphate salt drops to match. WEIGH, THEN LOG Every recipe prints grams per 100 litres, stock strength, estimated EC with ppm500 and ppm700, the cation–anion charge balance, and cost per 100 litres. Save the batch, then record the EC and pH you measured; the log plots both against the window over 30 days. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No cloud, no account, no subscription, no AI — nothing leaves the device. EC here is an estimate from equivalent conductance, so a meter still beats it. And it will not tell you which crop to grow.
