Punchd: Hours, Pay & Timesheet

Punchd is a time clock for people paid by the hour.

One tap clocks you in. The timer runs on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can check it without unlocking your phone, and clock out from the same place. Add the widget and you never have to open the app at all.

Then Punchd does the part nobody enjoys: the math.

KNOWS YOUR OVERTIME Federal overtime after 40 hours a week, plus the daily rules in California, Alaska, Nevada and Colorado — including California's double time after 12 hours and its seventh-consecutive-day rule. Hours already paid as daily overtime are not counted toward the 40 a second time, which is where most hand calculations go wrong.

A TIMESHEET YOU CAN HAND IN Export a clean PDF: your name, the job, the pay period, one row per shift with in, out, breaks and paid hours, then totals and signature lines. Or export CSV and open it anywhere. Pick This Week, your actual pay period, or any range you like.

WAS MY PAYCHECK RIGHT? Type the gross figure from your stub. Punchd compares it against the hours you logged and tells you whether it matches, came up short, or paid more than expected — with the regular, overtime and double-time lines that make up the difference. Save the check and print a summary.

BUILT FOR REAL SHIFTS - Unpaid breaks, started and stopped with one tap - Shifts that cross midnight, split correctly for daily overtime - Weekly, every-two-weeks, twice-monthly and monthly pay periods - Round to the exact minute, or to 6 or 15 minutes like your employer does - More than one job, each with its own rate, state and pay period - Set which day your workweek starts

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account. No sign-up. No analytics. No ads. Your hours, your rate and your notes stay in Punchd on your device, and we cannot see them.

PUNCHD PRO Free forever: clock in and out, breaks, today's hours, this week's hours, and the widget. Punchd Pro adds pay and overtime calculations, timesheet PDF and CSV export, the paycheck check, more than one job, and pay on the widget. 1-week free trial, then $2.99 a month, $12.99 a year, or $24.99 once.

Estimates only. Not legal or tax advice. Punchd estimates gross pay from the hours you enter and the rules you pick; it does not model tax, deductions, tips or bonuses, and overtime law varies by state, industry and agreement.
