KEEP IT IN CHECK · Set a daily allowance that applies only to the apps you pick · Get a heads-up before you hit it · When it's used up, those apps are covered by a system-level shield · Ask for a few more minutes if you must — a limited number of times, no reset until tomorrow · Focus windows (e.g. 23:00–07:00) where the apps are simply off · An optional 4-digit passcode so you can't quietly raise the limit on impulse

Apple's built-in limit can be dismissed with one tap for the whole day. Too easy. Last Call keeps a bit of friction on purpose — after all, you're the one trying to hold yourself to it.
