Shrink Batch Control Log

Every shrink run starts with a clear job record.

BEFORE THE RUN | Plan the packaging work Create a job for the product being packed. Identify the film type and reference tunnel readings. Keep planned values apart from recorded production results.

DURING THE RUN | Capture what happened Enter actual tunnel temperatures and conveyor speeds. Record completed pack quantities against the right job. Track film consumption for the run. Note a film change when a roll or material is replaced. Add tunnel observations while details are still fresh. Connect shift information and job notes to each entry.

BETWEEN RUNS | Keep tasks visible Set reminders for film-roll checks and inspections. Remember scheduled reviews without rewriting old records. Find previous work through saved job searches.

AFTER THE RUN | Understand the record Compare entries for matching products and film types. Review film used per pack from saved quantities. Look at finished output alongside recorded settings. Return to the history whenever an earlier detail matters.

Shrink Batch Control Log is a documentation tool. It does not run packaging machines or choose their settings.
