SikaBooks

SikaBooks brings everyday business tasks, Retail POS, Inventory and employee self-service to your phone. It is the mobile companion to the SikaBooks multi-business platform, available to independent businesses and their authorized users.

For business owners and teams: - Review outstanding and overdue invoices with clear, readable amounts. - Create and edit invoice drafts, issue authorized invoices, and download or share invoice PDFs. - Record payments already received. Recording a payment does not transfer money. - Review supported leave, supplier-bill and Procurement requests, subject to your permissions. - Capture bills and receipts privately for security scanning and human review. Captures do not automatically post accounting entries. - Find products and stock using search, supported barcode scanning and authorized location filters.

Retail POS and Inventory: - Sell individual products and fixed combos, save parked carts, review sale history and share digital receipts. - Record cash and externally received Mobile Money payment evidence; the app does not collect money from payment providers. - Prepare a register and cashier shift online before offline selling. Offline authorization is limited to the prepared shift and a maximum of 12 hours, with configured amount limits and stock allocations where required. - Preserve completed local sales across app restarts and reconcile them through the Sync Centre when connected. - Capture receiving, adjustment, transfer-request and stock-count work. Offline warehouse records remain drafts until authorized online validation and submission. - Use compatible local-network receipt printers with 58/80 mm layouts. Printer support depends on the device and printer model.

Refunds, voids, credit sales, final shift closure and warehouse posting require connectivity. Offline restaurant, pharmacy and serialized or batch-controlled checkout are not included. Device loss or uninstalling before upload can destroy unsynced work.

For employees: - View available payslips and earnings and deductions. - Check leave balances, request leave and follow decisions. - Access shared employee documents and contracts. - Review your profile, request changes and ask Payroll about a payslip. - Follow supported workplace tasks and notifications.

Switch between your authorized business and employee workspaces when both are available. Use optional device authentication, hide amounts for privacy and manage signed-in sessions.

Features depend on the business's enabled modules, your role and employee access. Offline selling also requires tenant/register enablement and preparation. Account creation and business setup are available on the SikaBooks website. The mobile app does not sell subscriptions or execute bank transfers.
