Sorry Scroll puts a shield in front of the apps that eat your day. When you open one, you pay a 30-second step toward one goal, and then it unlocks. Scroll as much as you like: every scroll moves you closer to finishing something real.

NOT A BLOCKER. A DEAL. Cold-turkey blockers get deleted by day three. Sorry Scroll doesn't take your apps away, it puts a price on them. Thirty seconds of something good, then fifteen minutes of scrolling (or whatever you set). You get three free skips a day for when you really need in.

Each step teaches two new words, then quizzes you so you learn to tell them apart. 500 of the most-used words per language, each with an example sentence, audio and a tip on the mistake everyone makes. • Body & mind: squats, pushups, wall sits, planks, shoulder rolls, eye resets or box breathing. Every move is explained before a 30-second timer starts. No camera, ever.

LEARN IN YOUR LANGUAGE Meanings and tips come in the language you speak: English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Japanese or Korean. Speak French, learn Japanese. Speak Hindi, learn English.

HEAR EVERY WORD Every word and example sentence has its own audio in a native accent. It starts slow for beginners; switch to normal or fast right next to the word.

A FINISH LINE, NOT A STREAK Your goal has a finish date that moves closer every time you pay a step. Scroll more, finish sooner.

SEE WHERE YOUR TIME GOES Your screen time, app by app, with this week against last, and how many days a year you'd get back. It stays on your phone; we never see it.
