Wellness Hug

Wellness Hug is a nonprofit yoga and wellness studio in Downtown Macon created to make wellness feel accessible, welcoming, and within reach.

We believe wellness is more than stretching, working out, or checking something off your to-do list. It’s learning how to check in with yourself, move with intention, breathe through life, slow down when you need to, and connect with a supportive community.

Our space welcomes beginners, experienced, and everyone in between. You don’t have to be flexible, know the poses, own the “right” clothes, or have any previous wellness experience. Come as you are and start where you are.

Wellness Hug offers a variety of experiences designed to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being, including floor yoga, aerial yoga, sound baths, meditation, step aerobics, workshops, retreats, special events, and community wellness programs. With different instructors, class styles, and intensity levels, you can explore what feels good for your body and what supports you in the season you’re in.

Some days you may come to sweat, strengthen, and challenge yourself. Other days you may need to breathe, stretch, rest, ground, or simply be around good people. There is room for both here.

Through the Wellness Hug app, you can explore our schedule, register for classes and experiences, manage your bookings and memberships, and stay connected to what’s happening in our community.

Wellness doesn’t have to look one particular way. We’re here to help you discover what it can look and feel like for you.
