En bref
Before You Send is a productivity app for Mac that gives a short tone assessment of a message before you send it. You paste or write text, review the estimate, edit your wording, and copy the final version. Analysis runs locally on the Mac with no account, ads, or cloud AI, and English works offline right away, though results are estimates that may miss sarcasm.

Check how your message might land before you send it. Paste or write a message, read a short tone assessment, edit your wording, and copy the finished message.
Messages are analyzed locally on your Mac. No account, ads, or cloud AI service. English works offline immediately. Optional additional languages share a one-time download of approximately 678 MB; feedback remains in English.
Tone depends on context. Results are estimates and can miss sarcasm or subtle meaning. Non-English results may be less reliable.
Requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later.
