En bref

Big Print Menu is a food-drink app that turns a photo of a restaurant menu or wine list into large, clear text, section by section. It reads menus aloud, can translate them into 27 languages with prices kept as printed, and answers questions about the dishes. It is aimed at diners who struggle with small print or dim lighting. One notable point: the free tier allows 5 new menus a month and needs no account.

À propos

Restaurant menus and wine lists are often printed small, in dim light. Big Print Menu makes them easy to read.

• Take one photo of the menu. The dishes appear in large, clear print, section by section, with their prices. • Tap "Read aloud" to hear the whole menu, slowly and clearly. Tap a dish to hear just that one. • Make the text bigger or smaller with one button. • See the menu in your own language: 27 languages, with prices exactly as printed. • Ask about the menu: "What is soft to eat?", "Which dishes are vegetarian?", "A red wine under €40?" • Open your last menus again, without a new photo.

Free: 5 new menus every month (a translation into another language counts as one), questions included. No account, no ads.

Menus are read by AI. Prices and names are read carefully, but always check anything important, such as allergies, with the waiter.
