Elegant Watch Faces

Classic watchmaking, drawn for the Apple Watch Ultra.

READ THIS FIRST Apple does not let any app replace the system watch face. No app in the App Store can, whatever its screenshots suggest. So here is exactly what you get, before you spend anything:

- The live dial, with sweeping hands, runs as the Elegant Faces app on your watch. Open it and the dial fills the screen with no clock in the corner. Set Return to Clock for Elegant Faces to After 1 hour and it stays there when you lower and raise your wrist. On Ultra, map the Action Button and it is one press away. - "Set as watch background" puts a dial into the watch's own face carousel as a still picture. That one is Apple's Photos face: it shows our artwork under Apple's digital time, and it has no moving hands. It is a background, and we call it that.

If you were hoping for a third-party analog face in the carousel, no app can give you that today, and we would rather you knew now than after paying.

THE DIALS Twenty-eight of them, in the spirit of Swiss tradition: guilloche sunbursts, applied Roman numerals, blued leaf hands, chronograph registers, and a moon that follows the real lunar month. Each is shaped for the Ultra's near-square screen instead of being a circle cropped into it — most watch-face galleries still ship art drawn for older, rounder models.

Everything moves. The seconds hand sweeps, the small registers turn, day and date windows fill themselves, and the moon waxes and wanes on the true synodic cycle. Nothing is a frozen screenshot.

PRO Three dials are free, and they are complete dials, not teasers. Pro unlocks all twenty-eight plus everything added later.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS Pro is available as Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly, auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
