À propos

Keep your TV controls close at hand with Everyday Remote, a native remote for iPhone and iPad that connects to compatible Android TV and Google TV devices on your local network.

FREE TO START Save one TV and three content shortcuts at no cost. A one-time Full Access purchase unlocks more TVs and shortcuts. No subscription.

EVERYDAY CONTROLS Navigate with a direction pad or swipe pad. Use playback, volume, back, home, and power controls from one screen. Type with your iPhone or iPad keyboard when your TV supports remote text input.

MAKE IT YOURS Choose a left-hand or right-hand layout, pick a colour theme, and assign five ghost buttons to extra TV key actions. Give saved devices recognisable names and room labels so you can find the right remote.

SHORTCUTS TO YOUR APPS Keep favourite streaming-app shortcuts in your preferred order, browse region-aware suggestions, or add custom launch targets. Share a streaming web link to a paired TV from the iOS share sheet.

PAIR ON YOUR LOCAL NETWORK Connect your iPhone or iPad and TV to the same local network, allow Local Network access, select your TV, and enter the six-character code shown on its screen. No Android developer mode or ADB setup is required.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No Everyday Remote account is required. Saved devices and preferences are stored locally, and the pairing private key is kept in the Apple Keychain. Remote commands travel directly to your selected TV. The app has no advertising or analytics SDKs.

COMPATIBILITY Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and a compatible Android TV or Google TV device running Android TV Remote Service v2. Both devices must be awake and on the same local network for discovery and pairing. This is not a universal infrared remote or a remote for Apple TV hardware.

Available commands, keyboard input, power behaviour, and volume reporting depend on the TV and its firmware. A volume slider is available when the TV reports a usable volume level; volume buttons remain available without that information. Streaming shortcuts and shared links depend on an installed TV app supporting the destination, and may require a separate subscription. Everyday Remote does not include streaming content or subscriptions and does not mirror your screen.

Everyday Remote is an independent app from Coder’s Follies. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or the streaming providers shown in the app.
