Futureown - Local Music Player

Your files. Your device.

A music player for the files you bring yourself.

No sign-up, no subscription, no ads – and no connection to the outside. This app makes no network connections at all. In airplane mode it behaves exactly the same.

ADDING MUSIC

Under "Songs", tap the plus button at the top right and pick your files – from iCloud Drive, from this iPhone or from connected storage.

Or share an audio file straight here from another app: the Files app, AirDrop from a Mac, an email.

A bar above the list shows how far the import has got. If a song is already there, the app says so and does not add it twice.

ORGANISE AND FIND

• Playlists with their own artwork and their own sort order • Favourites with one tap on the heart • Search across songs, albums, artists and playlists at once • Ten sort orders, from "Recently Added" to "Most Played" • Select several songs by dragging across the circles • Trash: deleted items stay for 30 days and can be restored

SOUND

• Six-band equalizer, your own settings can be saved • Volume levelling to the broadcast standard ITU-R BS.1770, so it does not jump between tracks • Skip silence at the start and end • Smooth crossfade into the next track, lead time freely adjustable • Shift the pitch in semitones and cents – without changing the tempo • Tempo from 50 to 200% – without changing the pitch
